RECITAL Premieres!

Filming DYD's Virtual Winter Recital will be taking place on Saturday, January 16th. Act 1 will start at 2:00PM and Act 2 will start at 5:30PM.

DYD's Virtual Winter Recital will premiere on Saturday, January 23rd at 4:30PM!

The information below includes important dates/times, will help walk you through the Recital season, and so much more! At DYD, we strive to make Recital as easy and enjoyable as we can for our dancers, but most importantly the parents. Any and all questions/concerns should be brought to Miss Ali in the office or sent to us by email at office@danceyourdreams.studio right away so we can help the best we can! 

What is the "Recital Guide"?

This guide is meant as a walk-through for DYD's recitals. It will help answer almost all of the frequently asked questions we as staff members have come across in the years of doing recitals. We truly believe it will help you through just about every aspect of rehearsals and recital! Please be sure to read it entirely and let us know if you have any other questions! We must receive a signed form back from everyone that you have read and understood the Recital Guide!

The Recital Guide Form is important to us at DYD because it lets us know that you read through our Recital Guide. It also lets us know that you agree that you understand the guide and our true desire to help you through every step of the process. Tickets go on sale on Monday, December 14th at 12:00PM. Please follow the link above to purchase your tickets online!

Wish your dancer "Good Luck!" at Recital!

Option #1: Send a CandyGram! 

- Send a full-sized candy bar or lollipop bouquet (includes 10 lollipops) of your choice to your dancer with a custom note!

- Your dancer will receive this upon arrival to film for the Virtual Recital! 

- Wish them good luck right before they take the stage! 

- Cost: $5.00

Option #2: Place a Print Ad in the Program! 

- Shout Out: $5.00 per line of 50 letters/punctuation maximum. Place a Shout Out in the program for a few short words wishing your dancer good luck!

- 1/4 Page Print Ad: $15.00 - Ad can include one picture and one line of 50 letters/punctuation

- 1/2 Page Print Ad: $25.00 - Ad can include up to three pictures and three lines of 50 letters/punctuation

Full Page Print Ad: $50.00 - Ad can include up to 20 pictures and unlimited text

*Anyone that purchases a print ad will recieve a free program!

Option #3: Digital Ad in the Virtual Recital Film!

- Ideas for ads can include, but are not limited to ... Still picture ad with text, slide show of pictures with text, video of your dancer, video of you/family wishing dancer good luck, etc!

- Pricing is as follows: 10 seconds for $5.00, 15 second for $8.00, 20 second for $10.00, and 30 seconds for $20.00

Option #4: Business Ads!

- Business ads can be print ads in the program or digital ads in the Virtual Recital Film

- Print ads for businesses are limited to 1/2 page ($25.00) and full page ($50.00)

- Digital ads can be anything the business would like!

Does your dancer need new shoes, tights, or a nude suit?

Check out our online store in your parent portal to purchase all of your Recital accessory needs! Please contact us if you have any questions about sizing or products needed.

First - Be sure you have checked the "costume" tab on your parent portal to view your child's costume(s). Here you will find the tights and shoes they need for each costume.

Next - Log in to your parent portal and click on the "store" tab. 

Then - Find the products your dancer needs, required and optional. Make sure you get child or adult sizes appropriately, and read the "Sizing" info for the suggested fitting. Please make sure you have the correct colors of products selected.
