Miss Kylie has been dancing since the age of three and hasn’t stopped since. She has trained in a variety of styles, from Hip Hop and Breakdancing to Ballet and Pointe: however, some of her favorite styles are Hip Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary. Having danced competitively from 2016 to 2022, she continued to pursue her passion for dance during college at Millersville. For her, dance is a way to express what words can’t, a form of movement where you lose yourself only to find a more vibrant version of who you are. That’s why she teaches dance—it instills skills and life lessons that are unique to this art form which is what fascinates her the most. Miss Kylie's love for teaching became clear when she co-taught Hip Hop class and Acro classes for her studio in high school and knew instantly that teaching was her calling.
Miss Kylie has had the privilege of learning from some incredibly insightful instructors through camps, master classes, and everyday lessons, including instructors such as Ethan Blakney, Kamryn Beck, Leveron Washington, Akua Noni Parker, Bria Walton, and many other talented teachers who have taught her everything she knows now about dance and how to properly move your body with the technical aspects to it.
In addition to Miss Kylie's passion for dance, she loves reading, going on adventures with friends, and grabbing her favorite drink which is milk tea with boba. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Special Education and has been working in the field as an educator since 2022, right after graduating high school.
Miss Kylie is thrilled to share her passion with the wonderful students at Dance Your Dreams and is eager to share her knowledge. She is very excited to see her students blossom and grow into fantastic people as well as fantastic dancers!
